Default CD player 05 grand am

I purchased a 05 grand am with an after market hu. Already installed. I was trying to upgrade the hu. When I got to the wiring there was all sorts of wires messed up.
can someone please help i have hooked up probably 30 far audio setups and never been stumped like this please help

And I have tried 2 different wire harnesses with 2 different hu. And I got nothing from either that'* when I opened her up

Well. Not knowing what model hu you are working with and no wiring diagrams I think I'm done here. I don't know how to help you.

I"m really curious about the relay he'* got. Why on earth is there a relay for the HU?

You need schematics for the HU and your car.

Ok so that relay doesn't go to the hu but its wired up funny.
the hu I want in is a kenwood do I need an expensive wiring harness

I think whoever did the current hu grabbed a power or ground from that relay but without a diagram we have no way of knowing. Not feasible to reverse engineer it.
