Default A/C question

My ac only blows cold from the passenger side and I've notice that my compresser constantly runs i know thats bad and i dont use it alot would it have something to do with that tia

Is this dual zone A/C? If it is then it is probably low on Freon. Dual zone will default colder air to the passenger side as in my 2001 Buick Lesabre Limited.

No it is not dual zones it is a 98 pontiac grand prix

Agree with guys, low on freon, since not a dual system(would then have to check actuator for that side)....

By the way, the compressor does run all the time when the a/c is on....
