Air Bags
you mean if you want to remove it or the sensors or just in general? they wouldnt make it so it goes off with power or it would go off every time your battery goes bad or dead. doesnt really make sense.
I meant does the air bags need power to deploy? I wouldnt want to tamper with them and they go off so i was wondering should i disconnect the battery first

I believe they need a signal to deploy. If your going to be doing anything with the air bags, such as changing a sensor or the air bag module, you should disconnect the battery just as you would doing any other electrical work.

Why play around with it. Each airbag has an electrical connector with a safety tab on it. Disconnect them. IIRC the airbag connectors are usually orange. You don't state what car you have so I don't know where your connectors are. I have one under each seat and two under the IP, one on each side.
