94 - Exhaust Donut Gasket Size
Is there anyway to determine the size of exhaust donut gasket on my car without actually going and taking it off? It looks like available sizes are 2.25" or 2.5".

I was told this was causing the fluttering sound while driving and possibly affecting some performance. Fact or fiction?

I picked up the part today, and my hunch is the lady gave me the wrong part. I haven't actually removed the bolts yet (they are soaking in liquid wrench overnight), but it appears the gasket that gets in there is a rubber-like material, and the one she gave me is a hardened metal. This seems odd?
Also, is there anything I need to remove / be aware of before I remove the bolts holding the flange together? This is the one directly behind the engine from the rear of the exhaust manifold
