2007 Pontiac G6 3.5l - Can't locate oil leak
Okay after reading all the replies so far, here goes:
1. Mileage is at 250,000 miles
2. I have done a thorough cleaning from the top and the bottom on at least 4 occasions that in the end leaves me questioning my own sanity because time I'm done checking and back-tracking I still can't convince myself to repair/replace individual areas/parts
3. After having already gone through the car on at least 3 occasions with cooling system related repairs,I'm not inclined to test my luck with individual areas.
4. My own personal experience with the car is/has been a continuous nightmare. I'm NOT anywhere near a veteran mechanic, but after replacing the water pump twice, including a new thermostat with the second replacement AND that every time I'm ready to consider that nothing else can go wrong, it does.
It'* either consider the high end with a replacement engine; take my chances with fixing individual issues OR maybe I just need to consider getting rid of it altogether. I firmly believe that at some point you say enough is enough, cut your losses and get something else. It'* sad when what could be used as a learning experience is not worth the hassle because I'm already way over any reasonable time/money cut off points.
The car is not even worth what the cost would be either way for repairs. At least with a replacement engine going in i could use the extra experience of rebuilding the transverse 3.5L V6 that would come out of the car

Sorry, that was another thread I posted the same idea. Either way, check your oil pressure sensor. ESPECIALLY since you have replaced the powersteering pump. People have been know to knock the pressure sensor in the process.
What Mike said ^^^^^^^ no matter what thread it was in.

So, tell us more about this leak: Where is it landing on the ground in relation to the engine?
Do you have and pictures you can post?
How much oil does it lose in let'* say a thousand miles?
Does it continue to leak no matter how long it is parked or does it stop eventually?
Does it leak more when it is running?
