So, I had planned on replacing the pads when I did the rear hubs, but everything got aborted when the hub bolts wouldn't budge.
One thing I noticed, however, is that the pattern on the caliper piston is not on my disk brake took cube. Does this caliper piston screw in or push in? Is there a different tool for this?
Thanks.

No this caliper is also the e-brake... and I strongly suspect it needs to be turned back in.
I see that Harbor Freight has a kit that is more involved than the cube... I'm afraid to rely on the push in with the needle-nose pliers technique, as I was not able to get myself in a position that would allow me to grasp the caliper and put any muscle behind the turning of the pliers... it seems like my caliper is at the end of its travel, and is quite tight.

I just picked up the all-inclusive disk brake caliper kit, as the cube I bought definitely didn't fit... and every other cube seems to be the same. Hopefully the larger kit is worth the money.
