no its a factory holley, i believe its the super duty engine im not sure the vin is the Y though not the W. im not sure on the heads, where does it say it? theyre pretty grimey right now so it might take a bit of searching

I do not believe that you could get a Super Duty motor in a Grand Ville (Pontiac only installed SD motors in Firebirds) and if it was an SD, it would have an X in the VIN.
According to The Carburetor Shop'* website, it lists Rochester Quadrajet # 7044262 as original equipment.
I also have a 74 Grand Ville convertible that we picked up from and estate.

thats really weird because this car has a holley on it and my great aunt and uncle bought it new, its got like 70k miles on it but they never did anything to it and my dad says that the holley is factory. i also looked and it has headers which he also said were factory. i just got it running yesterday, boy was it smokey
