Hello, I have an opportunity to purchase a 55 Pontiac chieftain 2door hardtop that is complete and partially restored. It has the original engine and interior which is worn but still in good shape. The car runs and drives and appears to have no rust. The trunk and back seat are full Of boxes with repro parts and nos parts. Problem! It'* 2000 miles away. Trying to get a general value. Can buy for around $3000. Thanks bob

Any pictures of it? $3k seems like a good price if all (or most) of the parts are there, and if its solid.

this one seems to have a questionable past,
plus a broken parking light and only one working headlight..
Not to mention that it'* got those stenciled flowers plastered all over it..

Then again, it'* definitely worth saving -
Because chicks dig '55 Pontiacs..
