Default 02 grandam gt ra power what power

Hello pontiac and gm enthusiasts. Im new here and a slight situation, I bought a low mile ram air car and over the past 4 mo. it has lost more and more power, to the point that getting o n the freeway is a chore, it does not knock, sqeeck, rattle or roll. Plugs are all in fine good burning condition, no water in oil or vise versa, no smoke no steam out tailpipe. Have not done comp test, gauge was stolen when my shop got robbed, im not thinking heads though, maybe fuel pump, filter, mass air or cat converter. It is also strange that if i feather the gas and find just the right spot it will come up with SOME power but not what it should, and when shes stone she runs fairly decent, the warmer she gets the sicker the *****

How old are the coils and plug wires? If you get on it does it sputter?

A sputter when you get on it suggests to me a ignition problem, in this case, weak spark. The coils are more then likely tired, and the wires are in bad shape. Test them to find out. But if these are original, they should be replaced.

Was your car in a flood or something? Sounds like something is really messed up in the electrical system.

Sounds like you have corrosion. We've seen a few cars with corroded fuse boxes. Try to take a look at the bottom to see if it'* white or green. Another possibility is the carpet got wet. There are grounds under the carpet.
