ZZP AFC 2.0 VERSION
How did you become a beta tester. I am just wondering. Did you just call up Zooomer and ask him if he needed a beta tester for something or what?
I don't know how much they are, or where you can even get the OBDI scan tool, which I think is what you would need. We got our OBDII scan tool for like $200 something, I don't remember, and then we have a laptop that it plugs into so we can record the information or watch it on the screen as it happens.
How much is the scan tool? LOL

Well heres a problem, I am in no way going to buy a scantool just for AFC 2.0. Also its not economically possible for me at the time. Think its possible to go off of an air/fuel ratio gauge and be very conservative in my percent changes?
That thing sounds very cool. I just happened to have purchased (today) the EASE Scantool today, for tuning the engine to the DIS-4 and coils Im getting next Monday.
DOnt have any experience in that field so its gonna be a challenge.
Jeffrey10X2, if i were to get bigger throttle body & port intake, and also want to get performance valves, springs etc, which should i do first? And is ther any one good source to go to for this, or is it all custom for the series I?
If i port the inake should the exhaust been done at the same time?
This is my next steps for my car. Im almost through with all the stuff i can do. I want some SERIOUS Horsepower now!!

well guys, i made a pass with my car friday night using my g-tech pro comp. it was like 55* out with about 20% humidity. i ran a 14.206 @96.3 mph and a 5.64 sec 0-60 time.
i was very very happy. im still playing with the afc 2.0
also i found that humidity and temp mans ALOT to our cars when it comes time to race.
went to the track sat. to race in the trophy class. it was like a whole other ball park.
temp was 81* and the humidity was 97%. i ran 15.0 all day. ended up taking 2 nd.
dialed a 15.0 and in the semi finals i ran a 15.02 with a .513 RT. then i only had 8 mins to get to the finals. i lost .2 secs due to heat in the SC. still had a .526 RT but ran a 15.23.
i do know that once i get more experiance with the afc 2.0, i will be able to adjust it to compensate for the temp and humidity.
also, the 14.206 was with 110 oct. sunoco race fuel. i got to the track and could only get 100 av. fuel.
here is what was sweet. my first time trial, i ran heads up against a 94 mustang GT 5.0 with a 5 speed. nailed him off the line and pulled away. beat him by almost .4 of a sec. after that, the anouncerrefered to my car as the race'n bonneville
. it defintly got their attention.
