Default You're NOT going to believe this crap!

I went out to the garage to tweak on the car tonight. Doing the BCA preload adjustment and the TPS modification that Pdad posted about.

The BCS moved ALOT. I got some major adjustment out of that, but what do I find on the TPS?

The LEVER that the throttle shaft pin pushes around is missing off the sensor!

Hope the dealer has a TPS in stock tomorrow. I was getting the lower end (.43 volts) on the scantool, but NUTHIN at WOT. Makes me wonder how long I've been running like this?

The dealer is going to kill me on this tomorrow. Or should I wait for shipping?

Car runs ok, but how long has it been wondering where WOT is?

The other discrepancy is that the TPS link you gave us lists the screws as 4x12mm. On the Series 1, I can tell you they're at least 18mm or longer. 12mm are WAY too short.

Don't buy it from dealer. You've got a running car just fine.

I wonder if that was 1 sec time adder at woodburn? One minute you see wot next you dont?

You'll have to do write up for the series 1 dudes then, and include the 18mm bolts

I'll bet you 10 bucks it was loose at Woodburn, and this is the fault behind my intermittent lack of TC lockup

We didn't do the TPS mod to SSEi95'* car, but Allmachtige did it. Both did the BCS trick. Kyle got it done pretty quick from what I could tell. I never even checked it out, i was too busy.

Not a BCS trick. BCA

That BCA adjustment should take about 2 minutes, max. Just remove the BCS (single 10mm nut), loosen 2 10mm bolts, twist the BCA to the left, tighten two, re-attach the BCS.

BCA alignment trick did alot for me, too, but it'* hard to tell exactly how much with the TPS problems.

I'm running a little high on the boost gauge at idle, but that'll probably settle in, and part of it is caused by a high idle due to the TPS problems.

Ordered my TPS online. Both dealers want $78.80 for it. I can limp until it gets here. Probably later this week.
