Would this work low 15's mabey high 14s with a series II NA
Not necessarily true. The Bonneville is heavier, and the SSEi from 92-95 has a major torque advantage. A modified L36 might be able to keep up with a bone-stock and tired 92/93, but I doubt it would with a bone-stock 94/95.
There is a highly modded GP GT (cam, headers, full exhaust, slicks, etc...) on www.3800pro.com and he and I had #'* that were very close for a while. I was running 15.02x'* and he was running something like 15.02x'*.
Both of us on our last trip to the track (different tracks) broke into the 14'*. He has a low 14.8 or high 14.7'* and I have a 14.901.
I blew my trans two days later and when I picked the car up from the transmission shop they told me my fuel pump is getting weak -it'* really getting noisey back there since I can hear it with the engine running while idling in park.
My mods to get a 14.9 are high flow cat, upgrade to SSE 2.5" exhaust, Thrasher CAI and basically a thorough tune-up.
I believe with a new fuel pump, and a good launch I can now achieve a 14.6 or 14.7 (should have been close to this on my last run at the track if I could have run on the lane sprayed with traction aid).

I agree with Marty wholeheartedly. My 95 with a dying fuel pump, plug gaps eroded to .075", clogged fuel filter (all these discovered a couple weeks later) and crappy tires in horrible conditions, I ran a 15.1 bone stock. I'd only had the car ONE DAY in my posession when it ran this time.
With a pulley and a good tuneup and fuel pump (coming soon) this is a mid-14'* car easily.

See, it'* just not fair. They've got us whipped, even with moderate mods. After all this stuff I'm doing to my car, I'll be happy with a 15.0. A pulley and tuneup will net an S1/S2 L67 a high to mid 14. As much as I like the idea of keeping my car boost-free, it still takes a lot of work and money to get into stock SSEi territory. Frustrating, but a fact of life.

Dude, I totally hear ya... I'm having a blast anticipating the work we're gonna do next week. 19bonnie95, hopefully I'll be able to show you some decent numbers in a short while. Even though we'll always be slower, it'* fun to see just how far an NA 3800 can go. I'm eager to find out how the car reacts to higher compression, and I can't help but feel like I'm doing a bit of ground-breaking work with this cam regrind.
Yeah, it'* all worth it. Even if we fail, it'* worth it
