Default Window washer settings?

Is there a way to adjust the length of time the fluid comes out?

What I mean is when I push the mist button for the wipers it sprays constantly for 5-10 seconds even if it just needs just a little bit. I'm going thru a gallon in a little over a week because of the misty dirt on the roads lately. The stuff aint cheap anymore.(it'* up to $2.25-$3.00 for the cheap blue stuff)

We've talked about that before. As far as we know there'* no easy, cheap mod.

Moved to Performance and Brainstorming since it'* not really a mechanical issue.

Thanks Harofreak00 for the link regarding this issue. Much more helpful than the post preceeding yours. Fortunately, I think I have only had to use the windshield washer once since I bought the car as I always keep the car detailed.

I better try it out again sometime just to see if it still works - Ha!
