just an FYI, there is a 96 SSEi here with switch and HUD and tan dash still in it. Not sure what the price would be for it, but you'd be able to get the wiring harness, HUD, and switch.

On a note, it took me almost 3 hrs to get my dash out and those parts off, so if someone wants me to get it, I will expect compensation for the time and effort on top of the actual price..

Come spring, I'll be looking for a donor car locally with a HUD in the gray interior color for my SLE. That'* the only thing keeping it from the major SSEi options now. I'll be doing an entire dash and trim transplant as well. Which means I'll have to re-drill my dash trim for my boost gauge again.

If you plan to do this, do it ALL.

It'll work. The HUD windshield had a special film that helped with the reflection. You might run into a little ghosting of the image with a regular windshield, but you'll be able to see it fine.

Would this be the same basement that became an indoor pool?

Hey I wouldnt mind doing the conversion at all, as long as its doable.
