Cheers,
It also costs $4k+ and you'll need supporting mods such as a $2k+ tranny to go along with it. I also don't know about the 115mph traps with an SSEi, but it might be the case, never seen one on a Bonnie. (I don't think there are any)

Somebody has to be the first

Cheers,
ill take one for the team and donate my car and all of you can buy the kit and we'll install it at bonniefest. sound good? ok

Well, money IS definately an issue, so no turbo for Joe, lol. I figure I'll just stick to the basic mods for now (that is when money even allows that!). Thanks for all the great info on this subject guys, keep it comin'!

Joe.

I wouldn't say just a high flow cat is going to get you .3 tenths and 3mph.....that'* like 30HP I went 14.5@96 with a PCM, 3.4, FWI.......I would say if I got rockers and PEM'* I'd be close to trapping 100mph.

While I agree with you that a high flow cat won't do nearly that, I was surprised to see a 2 tenth & 1mph gain in the 1/4 by removing the cat in both my Lumina and my dads '90 Turbo GP. A 3.4 pulley and intake should put the car in the 14.6 range to begin with. High flow cat might give it a 1 tenth gain but not much more than that. The SSEi in my sig ran the times in my sig with 2 people in the car, a shitty launch, and the mods in my sig minus the rockers, DHP, and no cat. Feels like a very low 14 second car to me.

Look my sig.

Those time were mine, except for 13.8- 13.9

I got from 14.9 to 14.6 with my high flow cat and gained 2mph.
..may be it was clogged :?

The first run i made with the high flow cat was 14.8 (the car was hot)
i let her cool down for 1 hour, and then i did 14.692@96.xx mph

one week later, after letting the car cool down again, i got my PB of 14.673@95.xx mph

So it wasnt a coincidence. I just need my PCM now
