According this old "Quarter Mile Calculator" I have, using travis #'* from his PB run of 14.778 @ 93.73 mph and a race weight of 3750 lbs roughly (based it off him weighing in at 3600 with 1/8 tank of gas plus, say, 150 lbs for the driver).

Ok, now the #'* I'm seeing are:

HP from ET: 229.653 HP Corresponding MPH: 92.235 MPH

HP from MPH: 241.001 HP Corresponding ET: 14.542 Sec




For comparison, my 95 SLE SC the same day PB of 14.901 @ 91.55 MPH

Weighing roughly 3620 with me in the car:

HP from ET: 216.247 HP Corresponding MPH: 91.474 MPH

HP from MPH: 216.788 HP Corresponding ET: 14.889 Sec

those are wheel hp or crank?

Crank -and in Traviss' case with his torque management fully enabled -I'm betting with the TM disabled he'* probably got close to 265-270. More than enough to trap at 95 MPH bone stock. When I disconnected the WSS'* in my old 99 SSEi I gained an extra 2.5 mph IN THE 1/8 mile!!! Figure another 1-2 in the back 1/8 if the track had been a full 1/4 mile. I had a few mods done so I saw more gain than Travis would.

Next year we disconnect the front WSS'* Travis.

ET and trap speed calculators typically use wheel horsepower. That'* the power that gets it done on the track.

I've found the calculators good as a general guide for comparing cars, but not reliable for hard numbers.
