Did you spin your tires for more than a few seconds? There is a time delay when detected and then the PCM pulls timing in a major way.
Mine did that when I first installed the 3.4" pulley. I did a major launch with lots of tire spinning. When the speed got up to about 90 mph, I got the same speed stalling stuttering...like a limiter kicked in.

You know, now that I think about this some....we did have the battery unplugged long enough to reset the pcm....they always say the car could act sputtery while its learning new stuff so maybe the car is just learning. I'll try to autotap it again later this week and see what happens...

Having a PCM that was just reset could easily cause the problems you were having. I am still betting it is the crappy over aggressive stock PCM programming though.

I'm not sure about the PCM, but I don't know the Series 2 that well. My PCM being in reset, even without the Jet module, would never do that. I pulled a 137 within 10 miles of installing the Jet the first time (under 15 minutes of install).
