It'* time to start to working on Shadowfax'* performance now.

INTENSE PCM and INTENSE shift kit at the same time. Together, they're not expensive, and total install time for the pair is 2-3 hours for a noob (9 beer job).

Haha awesome. What kind of settings should I get with the PCM?
I was thinking Standard PCM, Increased idle speed tables, 180 t-stat setting, stock WOT ignition timing tables, and increase WOT shift points to approximately 6,000 RPM and engine rev limiters to 6,200 RPM. So pretty much the "a la carte" settings, except for the increased idle speed tables.

So why the Intense shift kit over the Thrasher?

Shift kit? Because you save in shipping between two vendors. Buy both from one place.

Why are you increasing idle speed?

Doesn't it reduce the roughness of the engine?

I don't have anything to compare it with but I think it could run better.
But I'm guessing I might be wrong here?

Any plans for rockers or a cam down the line? If not then a 6k shift point may be a bit high. I remember my butt dyno telling me that the stock L67 ran out of steam just past the stock 52-5400rpm shift point.

+1 for the Intense shift kit. I love mine.

I've looked into them and considered them but I need to do a bit more research on them before I decide whether or not to get them.
