So I’m in the process of rebuilding/ modding the L36. Basically I’m upgrading the valve train.

But as I was working, I got to thinking with all of this room in the engine bay,

Why shouldn’t I try to wedge this in the bonnie?

This is a 414 SBC that we used to run a LONG time ago, made 700hp with aluminum rods at the time

Torque steer anyone?!?

I would love to see it. How long you think that transmission will last after you put it in D for the first time?

True...it would be fun.

Since when does a guy pull the crank to upgrade valvetrain?

You going to try and marry that to a 4T80?

I'd love to see you do that, if for no other reason than the vicarious thrill I'd get from reading about it here.

HAHA, that would be nuts. Sleeper...redefined. Simultaneously redefining "transmission go boom".
