Being that you have a 96, and the 3.06 gear ratio... You got the same axles as the Supercharged Bonnies
Is this true with the 95'* too?

I'm pretty sure that is impossible. How far did you bore it out?

if you really want to brop that small block in this is the man you want to talk to.

www.v8archie.com

you can get the transmission adapter from him and you'll be set. custom mounts and a remote inline waterpump and you're in buissness.

it is VERY possible, these guys do it and only go .030 over to get almost 4.3l displacement.

and speedster, if I am not mistaken, going anything above .060 is going to put really close to the water passages in the block. I take it you only plan on running this engine a few times before you kill the block?

I'm well aware that you can get more displacement by stroking.
It seemed like he implied that he got to 4.0 only by boring it out.

boring .060 over will only give you another 8 cubic inches or 3.91L, going 0.80 over will only get you 10 more cubic inches or 3.95L. IICR .080 over will leave you with cylinder walls around 1/8 of an inch thick near the water jacket. could be wrong though
