i just got a 03 ssei i have have installed a intake, 3.3 pulley, gatorback belt, lower temp plugs, and io am going to take out the cat and put in a straight pipe in, and i want to get a pcm. is there anyplace to get a programer to do it myself because i know a lot of other people that are going to get either a ssei or a gtp. and was thinking it would be better to just get a programer then have eveyone send in to get a programed one.

You are getting KR with that pulley. I'd get rockers for that 3.3".

i havent taken it to the track yet. i got it a week ago. it pulls a lot more than the stock pulley. i want to take it soon though. i know that intense racing is where i could get a pre programed pcm but is there any place to get a pcm programer so that i can do it all myself. and im sure this is a noob question but what is KR? and one more question, i got a 180 stat but my temp still goes to 200. why is that. is that cause i dont have my pcm programed to have the fans go on at 180 or do i have a bad stat or something?

correct, under higher constant speeds the engine will get cooler but with much traffic or city driving it will still be around 200

first, im happy for you that the car pull more, because i ordered my 3.4 ,cant wait!

-for KR , your supercharger make more heat from that 3.3 pulley, so the fuel can be burn before the spark(as i heard) it kill horsepower, may be you have little or no KR, if you feel a great difference from that pulley.

-for the 180 stat, even if its a 160, it will come to 200, it just make more time to get at 200, and prevent go higher.
