Default U-bend

So I'm looking to replace my Down pipe so I'm on ZZ per. They are saying how the high flow cat they use can set off the Light but nothing other than that. Engine lights drive my insane. What exactly is the u bend on the Bonneville. Cause then I'd get the short DP and get a different Cat. If the is has to be done over the phone to explain I'd have no prob with that. I'm new to the 3800 scene but not to getting under a car

the bonnevilles do not have a u bend thankfully, gm put the u bend on the w bodys like my regal and if you looked at it you would wonder how it ran with it. to further help im gonna need your year make and model of your bonneville. after that i can help you pick out a downpipe to suit your needs

No U bend on the bonneville. I assume you have a 97, looking at your avatar. Having your cars year and trim in your signature helps us. If you do have a 97, you will not get a SES light from the high flow cat from ZZP. How do I know this? I have a 97 with a ZZP high flow cat. I went with the 3" Newer Bonnevilles will trip a light, this is the 2000+

Yeah I noticed that today because I looked at a U bend delete and it showed the picture to the U bend. And I was under her today changing the Fuel Filter (which Idk how fuel was getting through it) and I took the light to behind the Cat and saw no U'bend. But that'* awesome about the high flow cat not setting off the SRS

Since you are not supercharged i would highly recommend the 2.5" downpipe, add the high flow cat, and personally i would get it in 304 stainless. i have a 304 stainless zzp downpipe on my regal gs and i love it and it looks amazing, plus it holds up well to the ohio winters and salt.
