Tornado Info Anyone?
Does anyone have any info on the tornado devices that attach to your intake hose between the engine and swirls the air that enters the engine? I did research and the one at Pep Boys also states 3-5 mpg improvement and hp increase. Some products have hefty hp gains. Does anyone have any experience with this type of product? Does it work with a supercharger already installed? I have an 02 SSEI. The product I saw was $68.00. Pepboys carries on for the Bonny. What do you think?

Do a search here for tornado, the thing is a choke on air flow and destroys any chance of laminar flow, which aids volumetric efficiency and clean maf readings.

Don'* description was the best. You guys are all LOSERS!
Ok, serious hat on, Don nailed it. But the Tornado DOES have a purpose. On certain types of vehicles (mostly carbureted, but also some vehicles with the MAF in/near the airbox) the Tornado can help the flow through the lower intake on a car. But not by much. It shouldn't be noticeable.
It would be a killer on our cars, especially a Supercharged engine.
