Agreed Toasty.

We have 4 forward gears, 1 reverse and a torque converter lockup soleniod.

This will make it seem like you have 5 forward gears, however there'* only 4.

Fuel cutoff isn't violent. Imagine accellerating and letting your foot off the throttle completely. That'* exactly what it is.

I'd recommend speed rated tires if you plan on driving over 100 mph....

Best advice yet. If you have H rated tires, give up yoru quest.

Losing a tire at over 80 could be deadly. My 93 had ZR rated tires from the factory, and the limiter was at 128mph.

When I bought it, it only had H rated tires on it. Potentially spooky. I'm back to V-rated now. I couldn't get Z in the tire I chose.

Yeah, I've got H rated (130). I would've never tested things out with the old economy tires I had before. Either way it'* damn risky.
