You only have a 3" downpipe and cat? If so I see no problem with that, surely you lost a little torque but gained it back higher up in the rpm band. The Gen V doesn't not move more air necessary, it moves it more efficiently per a given pulley size.

This topic isn't to debate your exhaust setup, it shouldn't be. We need to figure out what that code or codes are and address the problem so you can get your echeck and stay legit.

Yes...you're correct...I COMPLETELY FORGOT...My buddy Slickbonny (the guy I just did the cowl hood for) Has a scan tool and tuner...we're going to mess with it this sunday

Without a pulley change, the 3" DP might be a bit much, but once you get a pulley and a PCM, it will cease to be an issue.
AFAIK, there'* no negative effect to the 3" DP, only in going to a full 3" exhaust.

Also, the GP guys need exhaust mods more than we do...that U-bend is a huge restriction, and I believe the rear mani is slightly more restrictive.

Yeah I forgot to mention I already have my pcm tuned...Im going to get my pulley put on, and my pcm tuned a bit more for that ( if needed, I dunno?? ) But I will repost sometime on Sunday after Slickbonny gets his *** here and scans my shizz

Back in '06 Tommy Gloves car ran low 14'* and he saw a gain of +10-11whp with the addiction of just an 3"DP(Hogan Performance).
