Default These Engines of ours

Pertains to S1 L67
Top end.
My question being, would there be man gains to fully rebuilding these heads, porting the intake and exhaust ports more if there is room, new roller rockers, springs, retainers all those goodys and possibly better lifters.
Have the LIM and Heads port matched ONCE the heads have been ported...?
If this is possible..i think this might REALLY open these engines up better...

Come drive the Zilla this summer, and Joe'* 95 (ssei1995). See if you still want to go through all that. :P

Or wait for John and Shadd'* driving review from this coming weekend.

There are gains, particularly if you're going to do a Cam or rockers, but with the stock cam, I personally feel the heads and valves in stock form are fine. The major restriction to flow is the LIM. Not the heads.

Those are my plans, pretty much. Not so much porting heads, but polishing and modifying to allow bigger valves.
