Default Valvespring retainers?

Anyone that'* done rockers.......is it ok to re-use valvespring retainers? This would be for a 2000, not high miles.

Anyone done it with success? What are the risks, if any?

It'* find to reuse. Think about when valve seals are done in a motor.

We installed used retainers on my car. I don't think there is any reason why you wouldn't reuse them, because if you had never changed the rockers, those retainers would still be on the car anyway.

Usually it'* not problem what so ever re-using retainers, provided there are no signs of unusualwear. I think there is more reason for concern on re-using the retainer locks, but I've re-used them without issue after a carefull visual inspection.
