Can't seem to find a thread on the work that was done to port an L36 Tb, shave the shaft and counter sink screws (the ZM TB). Any detailed info or picks? Will there be PCM problems w/ the MAF. Am doing the LIM ports and want to maximize this mod with the TB.
There'* at least a half dozen topics showing them being machined.
Do NOT attempt this without a mill. There is no other option on this. A competent machinist should be able to do it for you for a very reasonable price.

Yeah, I wouldn't attempt it without a mill. I am a journeyman(more than competent) machinist. Problem is, I switched trades 5 years ago and no longer have access to a machine shop. I suppose with all the projects you have going, you wouldn't have time to do one more???????
Just checking..........
I have an engine in pieces, and a trans going into pieces in the other car.
I still have my own cylinder heads, another LIM, and another supercharger to port. I'm swamped.
(I turn down a half-dozen requests per week now)
My only intent in doing some for others were as test cars. Notice I've covered all the 3800 variants from 92-2003? That was intentional. I got 'em out there to show what can be done and how the car responds. The rest is up to you fellerz.

Well.......I tried. When you run out of something to do and have too much time on your hands.
Let me know. You're the only one I trust to do this.
