I've already got the Energy Suspension stuff.....
Someone suggested just using an 8mm bolt and nut cut to lenght.... but you guys would say go w/ GMPD.
Issue with groundshipping is GMPD does not ship to Canada... so I'll have to use my US source again.
You guys sure I couldn't just use something from the local hardware store?

You need the proper grade of hardness (don't know mine without taking them out) and the proper shoulder (non-threaded) length.
You can't have threads inside a bushing. The threads will cut them apart from the inside in a very short period of time.

Bill would he be able to go to the parts store and find the closest possible Bolt( Grade 8 or is that too strong ? ) and get a Nylock nut?

Grade 8 may be ok, but remember:
The harder the bolt, the more brittle it is. The bolt selected by GM for that application has to flex somewhat without snapping off. But it also has to be strong enough not to bend under load.
That'* why I went OEM.

I've been readin' up on all this. Sounds like a good Saturday project for me. My endlinks have been bothering me lately and it'* probably about time with 158K+ on them. Time to get to AZ and spend the weekend beer money! Looks like I'll have to drink lightly or invite a friend with beer.

Ok... back to the struts/shocks questions....
I know you said Reflax was disco'd, but Monroe still has "Reflex" listed on their site.
However, when you search via car type, it is not one of the options.
What are some of the other brands that make struts/shocks for the 97?
Gaberial, KYB, etc etc?
I'm looking to keep the auto level adjust... I'd like to keep the CCR if possible, but I know that is a long shot.
