I know you said Reflax was disco'd, but Monroe still has "Reflex" listed on their site.
However, when you search via car type, it is not one of the options.

What are some of the other brands that make struts/shocks for the 97?
Gaberial, KYB, etc etc?

I'm looking to keep the auto level adjust... I'd like to keep the CCR if possible, but I know that is a long shot.
CCR will be spendy, and aftermarket shocks have better response.

If you intend to keep ELC, KYB is not an option. The best ELC replacement is the Monroe Sensatrac. You can still get non-ELC reflexes, but I don't suggest losing ELC.

Ok thanks Bill.... I'll probably go with those.

Now next question... what to do w/ the Performance Ride and Touring Ride buttons?

Any suggestions?

Do what I'm planning to do with them: Use it for an on/off switch for a fan override, and use the other for methanol injection master on/off

Bill

In the link below you stated that the Gabriel struts are almost equal to the Monroe Sensa-Trac.
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ic.php?t=24215

Would the correct PNs be?

Gabriel
G56718 Front
G56903 Rear

Monroe
71822 Front
71798 Rear

If so... in your humble opinion, are they equal in performance?
(I haven't price checked them yet)

Gabriel are equal to the BASE Monroe. OEM quality, no gain in handling or ride.
Your Gabriel and Monroe ELC rear part numbers are correct. Their websites should feed you the correct fronts (nonCCR).

Even the "ULTRA" Gabriel'*?
(which is the PN I posted)

They say that their "GUARDIANs" are the OE replacement.

Not sure. I'm not as familiar with the Gabriels, even though I have them on the front.

I know the Sensatrac is regarded to be the equal of the KYB GR2.
