Ok cool...

Next question.... what PNs do I need for the struts on my 97?

Also, when I go to the Monroe website, they 'appear to' have a CCR strut now.
Check it out.....
http://monroe.com/catalog_lookup/E_C...DL=575&YR=1997

I''m confused as to which option to pick. They all end up with a Sensa-trac, and not a Reflex option.
They all seem to come out to the same selection/part numbers.
71822 SENSA-TRAC® STRUTS
171822 QUICK-STRUT™
.......... but no Reflex PN

Merlin, just an FYI while you're looking for the enlink bushings .. its the number that matters, the RC at the end is just a color code. Mine only had an R, some others had a B (black).

Bill,

On your website you list the PN for Reflex as 931798.
Am I to assume the PN for the FRONT Reflex is 931822?

I went to CT today to talk struts. They had no idea what they were talking about.
In the end the guy flat out said "look, I don't know anything... " and showed me his screen.

They had no options for Reflex for my 97, and he said he thought the Reflex were for off-road use anyways. :?

I also looked around for those "Engery Suspension" things.... nada... they don't carry them and can't get them.

I checked KYB'* website..... but they don't make a strut (according to their website) that will use the ELC for the rear of the car.

I'm hoping I can get both products from NAPA or at least one of the local specialty shops. If I get the brand names and PNs I should be ok.

I searched on NAPA (USA) site..... they offer Reflex struts w/ CCR.

Energy suspension components for our cars are a normally stocked item on the shelf at Autozone. Try their website, or a general web search since you're in

As stated above, KYB does NOT offer an ELC (air assist) option. If you plan on keeping ELC (which I strongly suggest), go Monroe Sensatrac.

Napa does NOT offer Reflex struts any longer. Monroe no longer makes them. That'* an outdated listing.

If you have a NAPA, take my printout from my website with you. Do NOT let them order you anything that does NOT say Senstrac on it. NAPA has a nasty habit of selling you the next lower item because they don't stock the one you want. So their database will show the same part number for both. This is incorrect. As an example, 2 years ago, NAPA listed Reflex and Sensatrac under the same number because they didn't carry Reflex at the time. Nice, huh?

BTW, the Sensatrac strut is one or two grades more responsive than OEM stock struts/shocks.

Damn...... no more Reflex eh?

That sucks..... they still have Reflex listed on the Monroe website.....

EDIT..... if by some fluke NAPA Canada still has some Reflex CCR struts.... they would be my best option..... correct?

Good work, guys.

Jason, it goes fast. Easy inexpensive mod, and you'll love the results, especially on the road course.
