i dunno about the 3.8 in camaros, but i think the 3.8 used in the firebirds were dohc

nope just a ole pushrod V6 same as our cars, just mounted a different way

I don't think if I were gonna put a supercharger on a 3.8 that I'd go with a roots blower. ZZP could probably fab up a CSC kit for the Camaro. It wouldn't be cheap I'm sure, but it would not be slow. That or a turbo setup, which would probably be cheaper yet then a CSC setup, and being a 5 speed car, you don't need the low-end torque you'd be lacking. (although you'd be lacking this torque with a CSC as well)

You're better off getting a V8(Z28 or SS) to begin with. You could probably swap in a LS1 cheaper then you could put on a supercharger.
