2000 bonneville SE, w/ 2000 SSEI engine & tranny.

What have you done :?:

You have to tell us more about the conversion and how it is performing.....

We can help to guide you on solutions to many problems or potential problems.

Begin conservative with the pulley size reduction until after you have opened up the intake with cool air and added headers and exhaust.
Start with a good modular system so you can go to progressive smaller pulleys to support each incremental upgrade.
Start with a 3.5 if nothing more than under hood uninsulated cone.

If you are going to pay someone else to do the PCM reprogramming you may want to wait until you have more mods under the hood. The PCM can keep up okay with a good amount of mods. When you get into the high end mods like Intercooling, Cam, Headers, Rockers (specially to get higher shift points) or bigger injectors then when you have the PCM reprogramed you will see Big differences. With a few basic mods you will not see much at all.

I find the intense pcm made my car even with light mods feel a lot faster mainly getting rid of the torque managment

Wow, that was fast. Very fast. Weren't we just talking about this a couple weeks ago? You found all the parts and had it done that quick?

You don't mess around apparently. What did you end up doing about the trans?

what altitude are you guys at? because my stock pulley at 4000ft gives me about 5 lbs of boost at WOT. so i would think i would be able to go lower than normal and still be safe.

Most of us are not over 1000 ft.
I am at sea level so my current 11.psi bumps to 13 psi with the 2.9" pulley.

I've pegged my boost gauge. It won't read over about 12psi (and that'* off the scale by 2psi).
