Yeah, for some reason I'm thinking the STS kit alone will only get you into the mid to low 14s. I checked 3800Pro, and Mike Murphy'* current PB is 12.69 @ 107 with the STS kit. He also lists PEMs, 1.8 roller rockers, pushrods, ported TB, and tuned PCM among his mods. Not sure how much his car has been worked, but this is a great example of where the STS kit can take you with supporting mods. Also worth noting is that his 60' time was 1.83, so he was surely running slicks and may even have some kind of gear ratio conversion. Still, it'* a quick car.

Turbos on cars that can handle some boost will go into 13'* easy, if not 12'*. The L36 has a better compression ratio for ultimate power, but you CANNOT have any KR with it.
Turbos were all the rage last year in the W body crowd IMO, and can create TONS of power.
Personally I wouldn't do an STS on a V6 H bodied car, N* are different, as at the 00+, but I just don't like a few aspects of the system myself. However it'* hard to beat on F and Y bodies because of lack of under-hood space.
