Default Smaller Pulley

Does anybody know how small you can go until you need an intercooler? I read that for a Thrasher 3 inch pulley, you WILL need an intercooler, but everything above 3 inches wasn't specified. If you get a 2.8 inch pulley, I was told you need to make accomodations for knocking, what exactly needs to be done?

ya you need alot of mods to run a 3" pulley.

if your stock dont even think about going under a 3.5.

to run a 3" or less, you need at least rockers, or cam, headers, FWI, and a Intercooler

I'm running rockers springs, headers, intake, shift kit, intense tuned PCM and I'm only down to a 3.2" And I still need to tune out a little bit of KR yet. Ypu have a long ways to go to get to a 3" pulley.

Go with a MPS pulley so you can change pulley sizes easily.
