I just replaced the stock 3" pulley with a 2.5" from PulleyBoys. I'll post pics and instructions if anyone is interested. Also have installed 180 Thermostat and CAI.
Relatively easy job. Very noticeable change in hoesepower and torque. Also, Now you can hear the SC wined up. Cool Sound and turns some heads.
Next stop is the N20 wet system.

Sweeet!
I am ready to order my pulley, CAI, and chip within a matter of days. I am very interested in pics and instructions on the Pulley install.
I was thinkingof going down to a 2.4 or 2.3. I thought I heaqrd once that 2.2 was ideal but shouldn't go any lower. Anyone have thoughts on that?
I think I have the bug too....

Typical performance diameter for you is the stock 92/93 pulley. Neat for you, cuz you can get one from a wrecker if you want. I haven't heard of a 94/95 running anything smaller than a 2.5", but if you contact Pulley Boys, he can make some more specific reccommendations. Brian and I have been talking about this alot, cuz the GP community (the highest pulley volume out there) don't use the Series 1. Makes it tough to keep track of when the Series 1 uses 2 different stock pulleys, too.
So for the 92/93, 2.2 (or 2.25" depending on where you get it) or the 2.0" for extreme.
94/95 the 2.5" is the only 'next step down' that I know of, and that'* a big change in ratio by itself.

pulley boys makes a 2.2,2.3,2.5,2.5,2.6, and 2.7" http://www.pulleyboys.com/
They e-maled me and recommended the 2.2".
My brother is working on the math to determin the smallest pulley that will not "top out" the blower. We got the specs from eatons web site and are working it out. Reply will post in a few days.

2.2" is the the next performance size down for a '93. Brian at PulleyBoys doesn't have the 2 types of Series 1 broken out seperately yet. I would STRONGLY discourage anyone from running the 2.2" on a 94/95. You're getting into the heat loss range, so the extra gains are minimal, if not non-existent. On top of that, you're inducing a ton of extra wear on the bearings, rotors, and oil life of the Supercharger.

Definately don't go smaller than the 2.5. After install, the boost pegs the gauge at 11+psi at WOT. More than that will cause alot of problems on a stock motor. Will post the Picts and instructions this weekend.

PS Also workin on the custom CAI for us 94-95 guys. New air box with undercar feed and custom bent sweep to fit the K&N in the box. Looking to post these for sale later this spring.. if all works out.
