Oh ya baby, there in. Started around 11am and finished around 6, worked in a 1hour luch break and Allmachtige pulley swap too. Install went pretty smooth other than that damn stock tranny tube, and one wire got pulled out of a little baby harness hooked up to my remote start, no big deal. But my tranny tube is zip tied, that W-body one better be at pontiac tomarrow/

Started her up man was it loud, i knew it would be loud just not that loud, got a video of it, waiting for MOS to host it for me. Took it for a ride around the block w/Allmachtige and crazy loud and fun, reved it infront of some neighbors I don't like. Man was it slow though, total dog with open headers.

Going in the shop tomarrow morning for weld up and SLP hi-flow CAT. Tuesday getting Case learn done at Caspers Electronics, than Going to Alex'* for some A-tap time than throw on 3.2 and idler pulley. Might get a chance to goto the track on Wenday if all works out.

Oh ya, Alex is the man!!!! Illinois members need something done? get a hold of ALEXGTP at http://www.ilgpc.com

Really? I would have thought it would be better. Most of the top guys run with no exhaust at the track.

TOTAL DOG!!!! Couldn't believe it, thought it would still be quick but it wasn't. No low end tourque at all, it did started to pull nice once I laid on it for a couple of loud seconds, but I just litterly went around the block in my Neighborhood and didn't want to drive fast.

On the little cruise I notice that the sound of some throttle made the HUD vibrate like crazy, way more than my stereo makes it jump.

This thread is useless without pics of the headers installed!!

Welp these headers were touger than putting them in on a GTP.

Seeing as we could not rock the motor forward. And the silly *** Tranny dipstick!! Luckily Taylors dad happen to have pipe benders

But the end result was well worth it. Headers looked great!

Hope you get some good times at the track!!

Taylor should of slapped in the 2.8" pulley!! to get your low end torque back!!...LOL!!

Get finished pics tomarrow hopefully when my W-body Trans tube comes, err still not here yet, said it was coming from Michigan. Still zip tied, checked today and was all good. Also going to fix my airbox gaps. Weld up job was $60 bucks today @Merlin Mufflers.

Oh and the ride today was NICE!!!! The sound is much meanier, nice growl now, found a Caddy ECT on the ride home and had some fun. Love my Togs!

I know that 20 year old in the pic!!

They gave away a pair of these at the Midwest GP meet in MN earlier this month, before they were sent out to people with orders. HOT stuff. A guy with a naked GI Joe in his glovebox won them.

Yes these cars are loud without mufflers, i fired mine up @ 2 am with the pipe cutoff before the muffler. It was something different

Any leaks ?

Any leaks ?
Mine haven't leaked at all since installed in Jan.
TOG uses a very good sealing arrangement and the flanges are thicker than the stock ones. Re-uses the stock SS plate gaskets. A very good welding job inside and out. Proper bolt torquing procedures are a must, as with any good mechanical joint in this severe application.

It was actually easier to access than a GTP engine bay because it is bigger. There was plenty of room to reach behind the right bank to get at the manifold and the plugs without having to rotate the engine, especially once the brackets were removed.

The only real interference besides the Trani dipstick, was with the steering rack heat shield that needed a bit of trimming to clear the relocated O2 sensor.
...oh and the front header heat shield to fan that needed a cut and bend.

Cheers,
Not much to show other than It didn't fit, hit the headers, my old man had a pipe bender in the garage and after couple of bends it fits, but the clamp to bolt it in had to be cut off, so now just zip-tied. We didn't leave the front heatshield on. Thinking about gettting some boot protectors though, those TOG'* get HOT!!!

I checked and no leaks, fit was pretty good, crossover gave Alex some problems lining up right but in the end it was all good.
