I've got a spare gasket. It measures exactly the same. This is definately a future upgrade for me.

what about the wiring? will it be any different if put on the series 1??

The wiring should be just as easy. Power/ground/pink ignition wire. I found an ignition wire up behind my p/* strut tower.
