In order for me to get the CAI look and fit I wanted, I got the smaller washer fluid tank and got rid of the big one that was in my way. I am without the headlight sprayers, but I was willing to sacrifice those for performance. But there is a way I can rig it up to use the sprayers with this tank if I wanted to, it'* just getting it to look neat that is the issue.

I was able to trim the silicon reducer at a better angle to get the filter to fill up the corner of the engine bay. And I turned the filter sideways so the 8" goes across instead of up and down, where it was rubbing on some wires before. I purchased a Vent Stack Roof Flashing from a hardware store and the hole is a perfect snug fit around the intake pipe and will work great for the back of the box. I have some clear acrylic that I will be cutting to fit as well for the top of the box. Here are the pics so far. It isn't much but you can see how much more space there is now. I will have pics with the vent stack installed tomorrow.

Still working on that I tried to trim the reducer in a way that it would not rest on the compressor, but it just wasn't possible. I have a few ideas, but will probably wait until I finish the box.

Don't attach the box. Let it flex with the motor/intake pipe

Yup, I've seen it. I actually tried that on mine today and it didn't torque as much as I thought which was good, since I thought I had a bad engine mount. But nayway, I'll just attach everything to the pipe. I'll show you the vent stack I have tomorrow and you'll see how I attached it. I have some questions but I'll wait for those. I'll keep everyone updated.

i still think the ELC could be moved around some, without too much work.

Your filters got some black stuff!!!! Which side is your IAT on? Mine'* closest to the inside, but i may move it, that will be by hotter air, (although tricking it anyways).

Jason, if you look careully, his IAT is on the outside. Same place mine used to be. I've now moved mine to the filter.

Pictures of the vent stack I am using as the back side of the CAI are here. It fit perfectly around the pipe so no air will get in through there. After I'm done I may move my IAT to the filter as well. So for now, here are some more pictures. I have figured out for the most part what I will use for the rest of the box. Hopefully I'll have more time next week to do this.

PETE!! I was thinking of using some vent stacks like that (metal maybe) under the car, for ram air! And they'd help with airflow underneath.
