They are there to keep the noise of the SC quiet.

True. You be hearing much more of that whine once you do the intake pipe. Not a bad thing IMO.

looks like the compressor pretty much cut a hole in the pipe, it was tinfoil thin

I think the next pipe I am going to try to make a "dent" in for that area to prevent it but not sure how to do it without messing up the flow.

also clearance between the washer bottle and the radiator hose is like 1/4" on each side....was rubbing a bit on the washer bottle.

speaking of can anyone get the part number for the smaller washer bottle from the 94/95???

You have much more room than my 93. The exact same amount as any SE or SLE out there.

Why would you think it'* tight when there are so many here?
Does anyone have any pics of both so we can see them side by side?
It would be nice to put my compressor back in its original place. I relocated to the battery tray and got a smaller battery.

News Flash!

No difference whatsoever. It just LOOKS that way because of the smaller 95 (non double) washer tank and the slight difference in stock intake setup. There is no difference whatsoever in position or type of hardware in the compressors between 93 and 95.

Hans, mine fits fine with the double tank. I like to keep my headlight washers for snow removal in winter. It works wonders.
