Congrats P-dad, knew you'd like them, the 6K shifts are so nice. Hope P-mom kicks some butt at the track soon!
I also had to remove my Alternator for clearance. I didn't get retainers or clips either. But did have to "borrow" 2 clips that were dropped and never found in the grass off a Fellow GTP members stage 3 heads just sitting in the garage.
I considered a cam, but the cost of install and fear of tranny breakage, held me back for the time being. Very happy with my rockers though.

you could save alot of money by not buying those extraneous parts and doing the install on concrete, or putting something underneath the car. We have a little magnetic wand that we use to pick up dropped bolts.

The 00+ have an improved alternator mount which partially covers the rear valve cover. This needs to be moved over in order to get the rear valve cover off. If it goes over to far, the coolant elbows pull out and dump coolant all over.
