Loud as in lots of raspiness, and popping when you let off the gas, I myself like the sound, but many don't.

I myself didn't like that poppy sound when I first started driving my '92 SSEi, but I soon got over it and learned to cherish it

i have never heard a popping sound, and I dont have a resonator. I dont think my exhuast is as deep as some others though. (flowmaster 80-single in/out)

The series I doesn't have as much of the raspiness and popping like the Seres II has.

Would an SSEi have more exhuast flow? or could it have something to do with more fuel being used?
