ok i've been skimmin ebay for a while now and see this Performance mod that cost 5bucks. what it is, its a resistor that u plug into ur AFI to trick the computer that the air is colder and u have more power, now is this a safe/smart thing to do?? i for somereason dont like the idea but has any one tryed/ heard bout this?!?
This is the 3rd most commonly asked question here. Your PCM is smarter than a resistor in the IAT circuit. It might be good for a couple runs at the track, but what good does running rich do? None, actually. And your O2 sensor will figure it out in no time flat. Absolute waste of money.
