Removal: air box
hey Will are you talkin bad fuel mileage, foulin plugs, and ses light if you remove the iat sensor?? cause when i put my intake on in december i put the iat sensor in and the fuel mileage sucked @$$ but i thought the ecu might adjust itself after a few days.....nope, a week and a half later and its still munchin the gas, so i unhooked the iat sensor and the fuel mileage went up and its still unpluged now..... if i plug the iat back in will i need a mini afc 2.0 to lean it back out to get good fuel mileaga again?
u might of damaged the sensor when u took it out. Also make sure that when u put it back in, which u will need to deffinately do, that it is air tight on ur air intake.

Make sense?
It'* difficult to mess up an IAT, unless it is physically broken. It'* just an element that changes resistance with temperature. The computer reads the voltage across, and translates into a temp.

Fuel mileage will go WAY down, and you'll foul plugs. (as well as set an SES light).
