Actually i just remembered i drove my car to Lansing Michigan (about 25 miles or so) with all my audio equipment in my trunk and both my sisters in my backseat with my mom sitting between em and the car still handled fine.. but might of squatted a bit.. i didnt get out and check.

The vehicles with ELC have lower springrates in the rear. When you drop the ELC, or it doesn't work properly <as in my case> the problems begin. The system is designed so that the ELC picks up the extra weight. To remove the system effectively without the negative side effects, you will need to swap the springs, or find some other way to assist the springs, as the ELC did once before.

The only reason I can see to swap our the air ride is if you had an older model where the other components of the ELC have worn out and you don't want to pay for replacing it all. Otherwise you are degrading the system for very little savings. Many members have used the Monroe counterparts and repoted good results.

I guess for me, I am going to go with the Monroe MA882s.
Will the stock OEM air lines fit the MA882s??? It looks like my air lines attach with a clip to the OEM shocks.
Which is a better shock mounting kit - the Moog or the KYB?

From what I have researched, the Monroe MA822s and Moog K5341 are the way to go. This is what I bought from Amazon - SUPER CHEAP! $55 + free shipping for the shocks and $23 each + free shipping each for the shock mounts (need to buy two for a total of $46).
For under a hundred bucks you have everything you need and they even come with new nuts (air lines not included).
I didn't install them yet (trying to make time for it), but will post pics of the install when I do.
