that'll work much better with the Modified Engine cover. Those who want to run the cooling duct should have a modified or removed cover.

3" conduit won't have directed flow unless you're 3" all the way down. I can't get 3" flex through the headlight brace hole. 3" would also be in the way of the coil packs and oil fill cap.

The rubber gasket under the rear hood edge can be trimmed at the outside edges, and some in the center. I've been looking at that for about a year for that purpose. I intend to do just that, and replace it later if I need to, or simply put those pieces back in.

you'll prolly see a lil bit of improvement out of that but it'* the process of supercharger that makes the most heat.. I think what ever 10-15 degrees cooler the TB might get will be lost after it'* heated in the */C

however any improvement for $10 is damn good compared to how much the after coolers cost.

just my 2 bits
Heavy, as stated, we have to watch out for the climate control intakes at the base of the WS. You also need to be introduced to my car I'm running a 2.2" pulley on the SC, so it'* spinning alot faster than normal. At WOT, it'* running at 16,000+ rpm'*. Air compression and friction are creating heat. Basic forumula states that every 10 degrees cooler on the incoming air is one horsepower. This is only half of my ram air feed for this purpose. One scoop feeds that, the other feeds my intake box.

Heat is the enemy. Combat it any way you can.

You're fighting a great battle against the heat enemy.
......and that color coordinating, nice detail. Red is a little cooler.

I think you're winning the heat battle, but I'm catching up

I may re-paint that duct. Thinking the cast-metal looking paint I used on my SC cover. Might be more subtle that way?

Bill, try that lighter silver that you used on the mesh part of the SC cover, as long as you're thinking of repainting it.

The mesh that'* red now? It was just un-painted aluminum.

Gotta try the cast look. Prepping it for paint right now. I can always paint it red again tomorrow
