Default Ractive exhaust system

One of my friends was in a horrible accident yesterday (he'* OK though) and he offered me his Ractive exhaust system off his Z24 which was totalled.

I'm 90% sure the answer is no, but could this be fitted onto my stock '95 SE?[/img]

They'd make it fit. You by something, specify the model and muffler that is on there (ie OEM stock muffler)

I assume they could order the right one and weld it on there

Are the Reactives going on the 95 or onto Switch?

No, he offered me the EXACT full system in the picture, I was wondering if it could be fitted onto the '95. As seen in the pic, they're not really tips, they're actually welded right to the muffler. We wouldn't put it on the Ei, as it'* dual exhaust.

And we'll be getting Ractive tips for the SSEi soon anyways.

Well... I don't see why it wouldn't.. ask for the model # of the unit and look up the dimension of the muffler and diameter of pipe inlet. Compare that to your stock size and if it fits.. then there you go. How much is he askin for it ? Compare THAT price to Crappy Tire'*. I would recommend Zoro for the install if you're plannin on doing cat back. If not.. any shot will do.. or you can do it yourself by going to Crappy Tire to get some couplers and exhaust joints ( not the 420 ones..hahaha ) Humm speakin of exhaust.. now I have to go post a question before I forget..

For $0

Is the muffler in the '95 not mounted perpendicular to the length of the car though? (I honestly don't know, I've never checked)

This muffler is parallel with the length of that car...

How would that work?

Oh hey, I have seen the Ractive chrome tips that fit in the SSE/SSEi dual outlet'* in the rear bumper perfectly. Do you have the part # since I am going to add them to the ADTR store. So rather than my sifting through pages of catalogs if you have the part # can save me an hour of my time. Thanks ahead of time my man.

I JUST asked him, and he says he doesn't have the part # anymore...

The only info he could give me is that they're universal and he says they should fit.

But I still would like to be sure.

Since we are planning on selling the '95 soon, would there be way to mod that system to be dual to be fitted to the '98? (Economically)

It would just become a custom job. There is no point in trying to make that Ractive system fit your car, just make a custom one unless he is selling his system for $5 bucks. Then hell, I would take it for the muffler and testing purposes.

Well.. if the muffler is free.. then try it on your 98.. if it doesn't work.. you can easily put back your stock one ( just make sure you keep it if you take it into a shop to do ). The SEEI isn't a true dual exhaust.. it'* only one exhaust pipe runing to the back of the car and splits into a dual via the muffler.. climb under your car with a flashlight and take a look at just before the muffler.. you'll be surprised
