The S1 has amazing potential. Take your time, get extra parts, modify them, then put them together when you have time.

Their is no greater satisfaction than doing it yourself. Even if it means asking for help.

That sums it up nicely. And there'* a bunch of people here that will not only walk you through it online, some may even come to help.
