Default Question for Todd (or whoever else may know)

For whoever may remember me I once owned a pretty 01 SSEi named Charlotte. She had Yella Terra 1.9 rockers and pushrods, FWI, 3.4 pulley, hi-flow cat and exhaust, and an Intense PCM.

I remember getting great mileage from her (23/33)

So I am thinking about finding another SSEi (love that depreciation, makes Bonnies even better deal!). What I want to know is how far can I go in the mod department before mileage starts to drop (exclude pulleys).

I'll be following the same mod path as project 8-ball. So if Todd or anyone could chime in and give me an Idea when the mileage starts going downhill I'd appreciate it.

Here'* what I'm looking at.http://www.intense-racing.com/8ball.shtml

I'm still getting about 26 hwy. Tuning it now so my millage should go up a bit more. And I've modded a fair amount. I've heard of others further along then me getting 30+

I'm ripping pretty far down the path. No mods really hurt gas mileage unless my foot was at work on the throttle until I dropped the gears in the trans from 2.93 to 3.29.

That'* kind of a thing up for debate. I would say it gives more high end torque then low end. But as for loosing it, no.
