No, the ZZP PCM is not skewed for the Plog.

Are you sure about that 3%? Most of what I've read is 1-2%.

How was the 1-2% decided upon? Was someone actually able to monitor the A/F ratio on each cylinder to provide for an accurate skew?

Worth a try. I see two people that went 3%, but all the others I hear are roughly 1-2%. You'll be better off even if you miss a little, as your front three will be closely matched to each other, and the rear as well.

If your going by what Joey said (joerrod) he doesn't have a PLOG. But was involved with the original outside testing. I really don't know where he got 3% from. DBTK2 was doing the tuning on the test car and 2% was optimal .

And the ZZP PCM is not tuned for the PLOG unless you ask for it to be. Even Zooom stated in his original threads that 2% was optimal. And for the life of me I can't find that thread.

Edit-I just noticed that Brian E. (93luminaL67) posted in that thread, He is the ONLY one running 3%(I just called him-lol). His car has been different from day 1 tho.

He just did what Zooom reccommended . I don't remember if they skewed higher, and came back to 2%. But I know he went 1%, 2%, ect.

well i talked to spud he said going with 3% really is going to make that much of a difference
he has seen cars running around with 8%+ difference and when he skews them sometimes he can only get them down to 4% and there happy
but then again are case is a lil different

recommend a 1.5% increase over the rear bank so you don’t affect mileage so much. Flowmatching is always a good idea.

Zooomer

ZZPerformance.com

i mean he told others 2% right? the question is does he really know?

so im sticking with 3% at 80% duty cycle i dont think Gm ever has more than 80% duty cycle programed in there PCM? right? another thing i wonder if ZZP changes that in there 1.0 pcm? i doubt it
so if your using less than 80% duty cycle is will be less than 3% and over 80% it will be more than 3%

what are you thoughts?

Zoomer said 2% to some people. Now he'* telling you 1.5%. So flip a coin. Or believe the 3%.

Or better yet, since one person at ZZP said not to skew them, and Zoomer tells different people different things, go back to PEM'* and sell the PowerLog.
